Doha is delighted to highlight the hotel’s celebration of Qatar’s National Sports Day, which will take place on the 11th of February 2020.
The National Sport Day, celebrated every second Tuesday of February, was set up to promote sports, physical education and sustainable development to further enhance the Qatar National Vision 2030.
To celebrate this momentous day, the very much dedicated teams, will be all on board wearing sportswear and casual outfits to make the National celebration fun and memorable for all family, kids and guests.
For the entire day of the 11th of February, the Health Club, the Beach & Pool club and the Playroom access will be complimentary for all guest as well as fun-filled day packed with sport and fitness adults and kids activities.
The day will start around 9 am, with an offering of salutary welcome drinks available during the entire day within the Grand Lobby upon the arrival of the guest, and proceed with a healthy and protein rich breakfast at Sawa restaurant.
The guest will be ranging between professional athletes, families, influencers, bloggers and media, and of course the local sports fans, all of which will join to spend the entire day exercising and celebrating.
The activities will be commencing with an energizing power walk to warm up, followed by one of the main focuses of the morning activities, the Beach boot camp session by the sea, right before a highly competitive game of Volley Ball, other than traditional games of tug of war, social tennis, and kayaking.
By 1 pm the Aqua Aerobics class will refresh the crowd before indulging in a healthy and guilt-free brunch.
The beneficial brunch, located at Sawa as well, will start at 12:30 pm until 4 pm, ending right before the sunset yoga by the beach, one of the most eventful activities of the day, followed by an enlightening meditation session.
The Cluster General Manager of Kempinski Doha, Karim Tayach, prior to the event stated: “It will be our mission to celebrate Qatar’s National Sports Day in the most eventful manner, as it is a way to promote health in our stunning Country, and as well to celebrate Qatar’s commitment to a healthy lifestyle.”
