Customers who initially booked the new BMW X5 had the opportunity to be among the first in the Middle East to receive the latest model

Following its official Middle East premiere at the Qatar Motor Show in October, Alfardan Automobiles, the official BMW Group importer in Qatar delivered the first all-new BMW X5 units to its pre-booked customers.

The first group of new BMW X5 owners who booked the model early had the special opportunity to be among the first in the Middle East to receive their fourth generation BMW X5s at special handover ceremonies held in Alfardan Automobiles showrooms in West Bay and Suhaim bin Hamad. Having stolen the spotlight at the Qatar Motor Show, the X5 represents typical characteristics of versatility, sovereignty and luxury; and is the next edition of the most loved BMW model in the Middle East.

As the first customers to have their all-new BMW X5s on the roads of Qatar, they will experience the new BMW X5 suspension set-up that is designed to yield an ideal mix of outstanding driving dynamic, steering precision agility and comfort, with the Driving Experience Control available to make further performance adjustments according to personal preference.

The all new BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) gives an imposing appearance and enviable interior space. A powerfully sculpted bonnet, a short front overhang, lightly hexagonal wheel arches and the dynamic sweep of the roofline provide further references to the sporty yet rugged character of the new X5. Two variants of the BMW X5 will be available: The new V8 engine in the BMW X5 xDrive50i boasts 462 hp (0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds) and a BMW X5 xDrive40i will be fitted with a 340 hp six-cylinder engine (0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds). Both variants will be equipped with the eight-speed Steptronic transmission and will be available for model-specific options from BMW Individual.
